Research & Development, Engineering and Consulting
In co-operation with our network of experts we conduct pre-feasibility studies and research. With our range of Lab and Pilot Plant Equipment, we run task specific tests which help to develop case studies and CapEx & OpEx estimates.
These tests can be done at either our MEMCON Lab or at clients’ premises.
Our engineers provide consultation and assistance with existing or new Membrane projects.
MEMCON RO/NF Lab Plant
Stirring Cell lab plant for running batches of liquid/liquid separation tests with different polymeric membrane selectivities in the RO/NF range. Cylinder gets filled with 300 ml test liquid, pressurized by a gas source, ‘crossflow’ by a magnetic stirrer, Permeate collection from bottom-flange port. • Max system pressure 10-69 bar • Membrane surface 50 cm2.
MEMCON UF/MF Lab Plant
Benchscale lab plant for running batches of solid/liquid separation tests with different ceramic membrane selectivities (5.0 nm to 1.2 micron). Two membrane elements in parallel for a quick membrane performance check at exact same hydraulic parameters. Required test volume 10-20 ltr • Minimum holding volume 3 ltr • Max system pressure 6 bar • Max temperature • 90 Deg-C • Membrane surface 50 cm2 • Double jacketed tank for heating/cooling • In-situ CIP/SIP • Optional PES or PP membrane modules installation
MEMCON RO/NF Pilot Plant
Mobile test plant for running batch-wise or continuous liquid/liquid separation tests with different polymeric membrane selectivities in the RO/NF range. The plant can be operated either with a spiral 2540 module, a spiral 4040 module or a tubular RO/NF module. The process is fully automated with PLC/HMI, electronic data recorder and pump VSD. See brochure in download section for more info. Max system pressure 140 bar • Power consumption 4 kW • Double jacketed tank for heating/cooling • In-situ CIP/SIP • Fully automated with analog & digital field instrumentation
MEMCON UF/MF Pilot Plant
Mobile test plant for running batch-wise or continuous solid/liquid separation tests with different polymeric or ceramic membrane selectivities in the UF/MF range. The process is fully automated with PLC/HMI and pumps VSDs • Max system pressure 10 bar • Power consumption 4 kW • Double jacketed 600 ltr holding tank for heating/cooling • In-situ CIP/SIP • Fully automated with analog & digital field instrumentation.
